So we stayed over at my design studio coordinator's place and he asked us foundation students what we learnt in foundation
and we told him we learnt social psychology and marketing and drawing
and he was like
so it's all useless?
Like.
Just because it has nothing directly to do with Architecture, doesn't mean it doesn't matter
Just because we didn't learn how to draw plans and elevations the Architecture way, doesn't mean it's redundant to know
At least we know some basics about how the world works
At least we know a little bit about everything
At least, in the process, we learnt how to get along with people from different backgrounds going for different directions in life, and respect them for it.
Maybe this is the grand issue amongst Archies, that your ego is so strong and you think Architecture is the Ultimate Career that everything else just isn't up to par
It's kinda disgusting
