Final presentation for design was last Friday, and after spending almost the entire week's worth of brain juice to figure out how to make a boat, and about 24 hours abusing my arms to cut kraft board, I AM FREE. I was so happy that it's all done I was already high before my turn came.

Who cares that my model is the ugliest thing in the entire class right?? AT LEAST MY DESIGN WAS APPROVED OF! My idol lecturer liked it as well

I feel lucky because my concept is accepted (despite the cheesiness of it)

I don't feel lucky because my lecturer thought of a way to make my design work in more complicated ways

It's good because it's cool

It's not good because I'm so lazy 

I digress.

I'm actually pretty happy with my design and concept (thank you Mr Ooi)
OK so the project is about disaster shelters. It has to be designed in a way that it will be easy to transport and set up. So my concept is angel wings cos the whole symbolism on hope and blablabla (shut up I know it's cheesy)

So the final design (so far) is an aerofoil shape canopy which has covers on all sides for...coverage at night or when it rains.

Then my other lecturer picked up my model and said the most dreadful words ever

"you know what you can do? When you flip it over... (internal screaming) it becomes a boat!"


So now I have to do a PhD research on how rowboats work

Ever felt like you like too many things that you're not especially good at anything?
Or maybe I should stop being so lazy and start being more disciplined
I don't even know who I am any more, I've never been this lazy before.
Time to warm up the engine



Even though it's week 12 and it's kinda too late to start moving....meh.


Praying really hard for Project 3 now; I really want to do good.
