Cereal with Class

Cold sweat wet his brow as John tightened his grip around the steering wheel. The hands on his Rolex tells him he only had fifteen minutes left and he was still miles away. Two hours ago, he received a call from Kristin. He had been waiting for her at the small cafe and was starting to get a bit impatient as he was sitting there for almost an hour. Little did he know...
The caller ID showed her name but a man's voice came through the receiver. It sounded gruff. And soul-less. Like steel. "twenty thousand quid for the lady. Meet me at the alley Hunting Street downtown." the voice huffed and then after a high pitched scream, the line went dead with a click.
Kristin.
That was definitely Kristin's voice.
At first John thought it was a joke -Kristin was never the serious type- but then all the pieces fit in his head. He threw some money on the table and sprinted into his black BMW, driving towards the nearest bank. He couldn't call the police, god knows what they would do to his darling if he did. It took him an agonisingly long time to withdraw that much money, the deafening scream replaying itself in his head the whole time. His heart quenched as the unthinkable past through his head. Hopefully he wasn't too late.

 Cold. Wet. Pain.
Kristin opened her eyes and quickly shut them again. Her head pounded and her entire body ached. She felt like she had been hung upside down and been used as a punching bag for a sadist.
Cold. Wet. Pain.
A hand gripped her hair and she clenched her teeth bearing the pain. "awake, aren't we?" the man, Duke from what she learnt from hearing into their conversations, said and let go of her hair, her head thumping painfully on the cold hard ground.
Kristin had no idea how she wound up in the cellar. She was walking towards the cafe to meet John and the next thing she knew, something hard hit her head then everything turned black. She woke up with bruises and scratches everywhere. The whole time she endured the torture, she thought of John. John and his umber hair and bright green eyes. John and his warmth. John and the security he emitted through his skin whenever he enveloped her in his strong arms.
"John..." she breathed, tears streaming down her bruised cheeks. This was it. She had lost all hope in life. She could feel her body shutting down, the pain was too much.
"Just kill me," she wheezed. "Please!"
"oh?" Duke cocked his eyebrow, bending down to look her in the eyes. A smirk was tugging at the corners of his lips. That bastard.
"Kill me," she cried, tears coming down full force now. "I'm begging you!"
"whatever you say," he shrugged nonchalantly as if he randomly killed people on a daily basis. He pulled his gun out and his finger pressed down on the trigger.
Kristin closed her eyes, awaiting the bullet to penetrate through her skin, to end all this. "I'm sorry, John..I'm sorry." she said under her breath. It killed her to end her life so easily, but it was so much pain.
Boom.
"No!"
Kristin's eyes shot open to meet John's. There he was standing at the door. His hair was masked onto his skin, his chest going up and down like he just ran the marathon.
"Too late," Duke sounded smug. He pulled the trigger.
 "Kristin!" John yelled.
The bullet went through Kristin's chest as she smiled her last smile at him. "I love you, John.." she huffed then her life got sucked out of her. She lay there, limp in his arms as his tears wet her eyes. He lay a soft kiss on her lips and sobbed into her chest.
Cold. Wet. Pain.

OH I FORGOT I WANTED TO SAY THIS LOL

I had the weirdest dream ever lol

For some reason, I decided to cut my hair MYSELF. And I bend my head down to cut the right side right, and I ONLY CUT LIKE, HALF A CM but when I lift my head, I have a freaking pixie cut on the right side of my head so I freaked out and shit.

BUT it turns out it was all the rage apparently. lol whatever. Then I went to the mall and shit and saw a lot of hot guys (YOU SEE. THEY DOMINATE MY SUB-CONSCIOUS MIND) HAHA XD and then I saw Verinia and there was a book sale on the top floor and I had to DRAG her there cos apparently Verinia-in-my-dreams doesn't read lol

We took the escalator up and it swiggle here swiggle there like a freaking roller coaster and then it stopped working. And we couldn't walk down cos we were squashed between  a lot of people.

then I woke up lol

XD ciaoo.

Sorry for not updating. But I don't exactly have the time or the computer cos my brothers dominate it 24/7 no joke. Big brother when he doesn't have work hibernates in the morning and watches porn or something at night while my second brother (who's a little more sneaky..probably because he actually tries) sleeps at 10pm every night so he can wake up at 3am every day to avoid my big brother..don't ask. It's totally complicated and the only way you'll understand is if you live with me and you actually talk to my second brother lol

ANYWAYS, my Mom brought her laptop back sooo yeah :)

I wonder why The Asian Food Channel has shows like Nigella Bites lol so far as I know, Nigella is definitely not asian. She's British. And the food she cooks are definitely not asian cos they're packed with calories. The only time Asian food is packed with calories is when you fry them with a bucket of oil or it just has a WHOLE LOT of coconut milk. Chinese food...bland, tasteless until you make it swim in gravy or soy sauce, and totally low in fat lol cos there's just..practically nothing there XD

I watched BIGBANG live performances and WTF is wrong with Taeyang LOL everyone's like doing their own sha-shaying and he's dancing in front like he's high on steroids or something LOL he reminds me of those syok sendiri Korean MCs you see on Running Man or something XDD "really excited penguin and giraffe"...
Taeyang oh Taeyang. Don't embarrass yourself. Be quiet and mysterious like TOP :)))))))) Cos TOP's HOTTTT and freaking rich cos he charms everyone including those old ahjummas and noonas LOL

I don't really understand inverse inequalities lol the whole graphical method thing COS I FREAKING FORGOT TO BRING MY BOOK -_- see? THIS is what happens when I don't bring my book to jot down notes. I forget everything and end up dying on the side of the road. "Nyawa nyawa ikan"

I'm gonna go start watching Running Man (BIGBANG!) and see what all this fuss is about :) Till then,
CIAO

Contrary to what most people reviewed about the movie, I give The Hunger Games a 7.5/10. The "shakiness" of the screen in the beginning, I could not understand but it captured the scene of District 12 really good. I mean, focusing on the scarce meat they ate, the dark and dirty faces of the people, the people looking almost the same like it was said in the novel. The scenes were dark and grey like how District 12 would look like. It was grim, JUST LIKE THE NOVEL.

Jennifer Lawrence's acting was really good, I think THAT was EXACTLY how Katniss is supposed to be like - comforting yet determined and firm. I bow down on my knees to her acting.

I didn't like Willow Shields (Prim) though. Whenever she screamed "No!" it was either too fast, or too fake. But then, she IS just 12. What should I expect from a twelve year old lol I guess it was good.

LIAM HEMSWORTH OH LIAM HEMSWORTH. Looking so fine.
HAHA ignore my ghetto attempts *cough cough* I just wished he had more parts, but then again Gale wasn't really a main character in the first book. I'm still peeved that Suzanne Collins made Katniss pick Gale though. Jeez. What a buzzkill.

A lot of people were really annoyed with the camera-shaking, but I think it was correct of them to do so. I mean, look at "Twilight" for example. The fighting scenes are SO boring, the entire MOVIE is boring. Love the books, but the movies...meh. The movies are s boring, strictly for die-hard Twilight fans only if you ask me. ANYWAYS, so what to I know about the fighting scenes, the camera just zoomed into them and that's it... like if they didn't shake the camera while they fought or ran, I think it would be seriously boring. I mean, if you were there in the actual scene, your eyes would be darting left and right trying to get a look at EVERYONE right? They can't just focus on Katniss, honey, it'll be just....boring lol.

The shaking of the camera, I think, is to create suspense. The person watching the movie would be anxious to see EVERY part, and not just sit back and watch Katniss run away lol with that effect, at least they would sit up and try to see what's happening, eventually see the people dead on the ground with their paralysed-looking expressions and Katniss running away.

Whatever, the movie was okay. Nice in some scenes. My favourite parts were in the end though lol but then I couldn't focus cos I REALLY needed to go to the toilet but I didn't want to miss anything HA-HA I'm so weird.

Christmas shopping at Christmas Eve at the busiest streets at New York.
Was was she thinking?
This was what she was thinking, thinking up ways to keep the rates up and up and up was what she was thinking. Thinking up ways to keep her husband by her side was what she was thinking. Trying to make up for the lost time from her house was what she was thinking. Trying to push away the regret from stabbing her heart was what she was thinking.
The streets of Fifth Avenue were filled with last minute shoppers, trying to get themselves into the sparkly, glittery shops. Big red "Sale" cards were hung at shop windows, decorated with toys and candles to attract any unsuspecting bargainers. Taxis and the smell of their worn leather seats, street lights and the smell that could only mean SALE.
Women dressed in Chanel and Gucci, men in tasteful Armani suits, she recognized the types. They were the types that were devoted to their work. They were the ambitious types that put everything behind and focused on their careers. They were the ones who were glued to the computer screen fourteen hours a day. They were the ones who flew back and forth all over the world without a sigh or complaint. They were the ones just like her.
Serenity Lively, daughter, wife, and then mother to two. She had a job at Reed and Howe , a prestigious law firm, a word anyone would recognize. In the law firm lies the most meticulous, quick-witted, manipulative and workaholic people that could ever grace the Earth. They wore expensive brands to look expensive, to convince people they meant business.
Serenity meant peace and calm, something she wasn't. Serenity was trained to think on her feet, since there isn't time for her to sit down and clear her mind. Her therapist suggested she took a day off for a spa treatment but Serenity's demanding job simply couldn't afford a day off.
A day off was weeks, years even of work to a lawyer like her. She couldn't take a day off or she would go insane.
True, her boss the ever so manipulative Reed in Reed and Howe Law Firm was just plain evil and didn't have an ounce of compassion in a single fiber of his being, but Serenity just bears with him. He was her boss, after all.
Serenity reached home late at night, too late to tuck her children to bed. Too late to read them a bedtime story. Too late to even tell them how much she loves them. Celia and Carol Greene saw their mother only during the weekends, and that was only if her pig of a boss didn't call her in to work again.
Shopping bags of toys and an expensive Rolex - the latest, naturally- hung at their strings at the crook of her right elbow while her left hand was hand raised in the air, trying to hail a taxi. Hailing cabs at New York City at Christmas Eve. Someone just had to write it in the book of records for being the most frustrating and difficult feat in history of time.
After a few minutes of endless waving at taxis that never stopped, Godsend came in the form of a yellow cab stopped opposite the road. The driver whistled and beckoned her over. Typical.
Without looking left or right, her black Manolo pumps clicked on the road as she half-walk half-skip to the cab before any shopper decides to steal her cab.
She spoke too soon. Halfway through the street, a skinny red head in a bright red trench coat got into the cab and it sped off. Fuck. FUCK. Serenity swore profounities under her breath and she stomped her pump-clad foot on the ground. She probably looked like a spoiled five year old but she could care less. All she needed was a cab to get her home so she can check her e-mails. Her Blackberry died at the Armani Store when she was reading her e-mails while browsing the identical black suits.
Serenity heard loud honks coming from her right. She spun her head towards the sound and her eyes widened as the truck just a few feet away speeding right at her. The truck driver stomped on the brake but it was too late.
Shopping bags flew in the air, scattered on the ground alongside Serenity Lively's blood. Blonde hair strewed on the dirty road, her eyes closed and her heart wheezed for life.
Serenity took her last breath as the truck driver got down from his truck, his face white with fear from the scene.
Merry Christmas, one and all.

Exams were seriously mind blowing-ly frustrating.
It's always either

a.) I know the answer but I don't know how to express it in the way the teacher wants it
b.) I REMEMBER that question but I don't know the answer
c.) Remembering that topic but the sequence is here, there, everywhere and I don't know how to piece it back

so you can know how frustrating that is -__- like today we had Biology and teacher gave us the worksheet with the same question but I didn't know the answer cos we never answered the paper >_> regret

and Add Maths. Don't get me started.

“Euthanasia Coaster” is a hypothetical euthanasia machine in the form of a roller coaster engineered to humanely – with elegance and euphoria – take the life of a human being.

AKA you can die in happiness. Picture yourself riding on a roller coaster and go through a series of euphoria and eventually you die. That's so cool. I always wanted to die in euphoria LOL if my stories don't speak for themselves, I really wanna die in like a surrealistic dimension where I don't even KNOW I died. Find out more here :D

History tomorrow. May God be with me.
