Singapore!
So I went to Singapore with my parents for 4days3nights. Stayed at Albert Court Village Hotel. Okay okay la, not bad :) the sheets are clean, the toilet is clean, nothing much la lol I just wish their towels could be softer...but y'know. Whatever.
We drove there, you see. Road was smooth. Rained the whole way. On the way we stopped at Yong Peng for this fish ball shop that's apparently very famous lol it's called Yuan Yuen Fishball House. Go try! It's quite nice. The fishballs are handmade, using real fish. You can buy their dry noodles there for you to bring home to cook, handmade also!
Singapore is so clean *O* the toilets are clean as hell, don't need to find squat ones HAHA my mom always make me go to the squat-type toilets in KL cos the toilet bowl seats are dirty. Singapore different, seriously clean. Go my school toilets.. >_> cockroach, frogs, lesbian love letters on the walls, racist remarks, foul remarks about teacher written tiny on the handles hahahahaha SMKSM toilets no joke okay!
I went to hi-tea with my Mom and her friends at this 6 star hotel (which is REALLY GOOD. If you're rich, you should drop by there lol it's called GoodWood Park Hotel. The entrance has a red carpet for you, like seriously omg mad impressed). Initially we wanted to go for the English buffet, but then everyone was hungry and the english buffet only has pastries and small dainty sandwiches. So we went to the Coffee Lounge for Singaporean delights, which wasn't bad either. If I'm not wrong, it's S$46 for adults at the English buffet and S$24 for the Singaporean delights.
The buffet was so nice. I ate Laksa. Which is like, OMFG AWESOME STUFF THERE. Seriously. I usually go back Terengganu got their own laksa also nice. But this laksa is like, oh man. Must try. They ate the Mee Siam they say good also. The guys went for seconds also LOL. And there's those kuih kuih stuff which I don't like. There's also small cakes and puddings which is like, meh for me haha and you can make your own sundae! You can choose between strawberry ice cream and um I think cappuccino ice cream or something idk...and if you want toppings, you can have strawberry sauce, chocolate syrup, chopped pecans, or marshmallows. I regret not getting more of that laksa, it's that good. omfg spicy for me but I can't tahan too spicy haha if not diarrhoea hahahahahahahahahaaaaa .____.
On that night we went to Raffles Hotel for dinner with my parent's college friends. The food was Singaporean delights again lol. Their Mee Goreng and Crabmeat Fried Rice is good. My parents ordered the teh tarik and they hate it LOL. They say their teh tarik is like brown water with sugar only LOL. While we were looking for the toilet, we passed by this table outside with an angmoh family. Their son, not bad not bad HAHA too bad we took a different route back to our table. Haih. That good looking boy.
ANYWAYS, my parent's friends are so nice! This guy, whose name shall be left out in case some sicko reads this and go find him and murder or something, is so funny. He arrived at the table and immediately, he pat my Dad's shoulder and was like, "eh ____ what happened to your hair?" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH omfg. Then he told me my parents were really short last time, and I was like "Yeah, I know! *serious face* see, I'm short too!" and he laughed and was like, I like this one. *pride*
Another man, he's like an important man in Human Resources. He's nice :) see my dad go sit the other side, and then the other man face away from this guy. So sad la, he sit there ask who want to eat no one notice him lol I feel hurt for him XD summore he's paying, ohmaigod.
Went to visit my grandparents before leaving. My grandmother, is a cleaning woman-wizard (because witch sounds really...un-nice) and she shared with us these things she picked up from the aromatherapy book.
- Use pure lavender oil as an insect repellent. She puts a few drops on pieces of cotton and leaves it in the drawers and cupboards. She said she used to have roaches living in her cupboard. But after trying this lavender oil, the roaches disappeared!
- Vinegar as an ant repellent. She puts some on kitchen napkins and leaves them on the table. Or she drips some on a sponge and wipes the towels and walls. Her honey can leave on the table, no ants come okay!
