Cereal with Class

Yesterday I went to celebrate Cherii's birthday with sushi at Jaya One :B sushi craving, fixed! It was buy one free one too, so I only had to pay RM18 after tax! Looking for things that are easy on the wallet now, so that was good.

Bananas also got a cake for the May babies (Cherii and me) and April baby (Lih Jing) AND GUESS WHAT.

It was RM69 before discount.

No picture, but Yi San got me a fab high heel charm :D

Just finished watching this 1968 film; Yours, Mine and Ours. I actually watched this a really long time ago, maybe along the same years I watched The Parent Trap..

But I couldn't figure out what it was called. And the only things I could remember about it is that there's a lot of kids, a lot of bread and someone locked herself in the toilet and the mom had to coax her to light a match.

WONDERFUL HOW USEFUL GOOGLE IS, HUH.

I just wish more people would learn how to Google and stop waiting for answers to appear. Like, its the freaking age of the Internet people! LEARN. HOW. TO. GOOGLE.

You don't even have to ask me a question to set me off lol I just find it incredibly annoying in general when someone asks me a question over the Internet. Like, if we're face-to-face its OK; but when we're IMing each other? Dude! USE THE SEARCH ENGINE.

I never understood parents who will drive all the way to school in the middle of the day just to pick up their kids who "have a headache" or "have the flu"

I mean, so what if you're a housewife and you have the time? This is not about your availability to your kids' ailment, it's about character building! What kind of child are you raising if you're always there when they have a headache, or if they have period cramps, or if they just have the damn sniffles? How do you expect them to grow the fuck up if you spoil them that way?

People always argue that they'll grow up when time comes but dude, I have seen this happening in secondary school. That is so wimpy I can't. I get so mad when my friends call their parents because they have minor aches. If you have a headache, suck it. Drink some water, stop walking so fast and just suck it.

Unless you're bleeding (and not the normal period kind.) or you're a walking vomit bomb waiting to explode, DON'T GO CALL YOUR PARENTS. They have jobs, and they have responsibilities outside of handling your petty little cries for help.

I saw this girl waiting for her parents at the lobby before, and two teachers asked her what she was doing. The look on their faces when she said she called them cos she forgot some books. Pure disgust cos not only is she bothering her parents, but there was a huge fucking jam out there.

URGH I AM SO ANNOYED.

  1. went to Damai Perdana's BLUE mamak yesterday with the bitches who agreed to show up at 8.30am (I'm looking at you Ng "morning is less hot" Su Jean)

Su Jean insists the mamak is pink because of the floor. But optimistic people like me (cough cough) look at the walls and the mamak is blue. We talked shit and discussed our impending doom at uni/college/form 6. Of course, before the food was the obligatory awkward silence. Me being me, I talk shit more HAHAH
  2. I never realised that it's kind of OCD of me to match my name stickers with the colour of the book cover.
  3. Yes, I still label my books with my name stickers.
  4. The name stickers are, in fact, Winnie the Pooh ones that Wai Kay got me ages ago.
  5. Regretfully, the font is in Serif..lol it's okay I still love it :3
  6. I got the Divergent book series! For RM65, which my Mom almost had a coronary over. She doesn't realise that I have accepted the fact that books will always be expensive here.
  7. I also got  a Jean Ure book purely because I like how her books are illustrated. However, when I actually looked at the book after purchasing I realised that it wasn't illustrated by the illustrator I liked...#sosmartahezhen
  8. it's okay, it was just RM5. So I can forgive myself. Partially.
  9. My primary school class teacher still remembers me, and I will continue to rub this fact into everyone's face until I get bored.
  10. Speaking of class, class starts in one week. Ugh.
  11. I am a very boring teenager, who prefers to stay at home instead of spending time outside. I mean, I like to go outside...just that I'm lazy most of the time. If I have no aim, I am not going out. I like being a pig at home. I like being a couch potato..that is, until the scales go up whichtheyarenow....
So that's my weekend.

No I'm not some sort of Zalora brand ambassador trying to reel you in with a free coupon code.

But I just got my parcel today!

I ordered it on Sunday night, and the website says that I should receive my bank confirmation e-mail in 1-2 days..and I heard pretty bad stuff from Verinia

If you know me, you know I'm naturally gan jeong. If I do not get what I expect to get in the next 5 minutes, I start to panic. Did they get the money? Are they even online now? What happens if they don't get my money? Where does the money go?!? WHAT IF THERE'S NO STOCK?

After a series of events and a couple of calls, I got my e-mail yesterday! Five minutes after hanging up, to be exact. So efficient! SEE. THIS IS THE KIND OF SHIT I LIKE. You say you will e-mail me? I will expect it in the next 5 minutes. If it doesn't come, my mind goes haywire.

No pictures, cos I didn't open it yet and my phone is still dead. My Dad won't stop pestering me on what it is but psh please as if.

On a side note, you know that number under the bar-code you get on that invoice (or whatever its called) on the parcel? IT HAS 269 ON IT.

First my student ID, then my bank account number, then my passport number AND NOW THIS!? What is this supposed to mean? That I'll have a lot of 69 with 2 people!? I don't know! Or it's just some plain coinkidink but still! THIS IS A SIGN.

Today I woke up at 7 because I'm going to the MPH warehouse sale. After a series of going up and down the stairs because my luck was horrible and every time I went upstairs someone is in the bathroom. And when it was my turn, the water pressure was low like my heart.

After the horrendous jam, we went for some breakfast. And I had one of the worst breakfasts I've ever had - wan tan mee..soup. Who the hell likes wan tan mee in soup?! I ate half the bowl, polished off the meat and left it there. It was so horrible, I had to pause in between to take a sip of tea to remind myself all is not lost. At least the tea was good.

So after that, we dropped my Mom and my brother off. Then to realise that my Dad was not aware that he wanted to go to MPH warehouse sale.

So apparently it's either he forgot, or my Mom lied to me.

DO YOU SEE WHY I PLAY MIND GAMES WHEN I WANT TO DO SOMETHING?! BECAUSE THIS SHIT ALWAYS HAPPENS TO ME.

So okay, I was like, let's go home then. Whatever.

We went to Mutiara to pick up my Project A money..and to find out the teacher in charge has a class, and can I wait for an hour until she comes back?

Obviously I didn't.

So, recap: I woke up fucking early in the morning, had a horrible shower, had a horrible breakfast, did not go to the destination that I thought I would be achieving today, and went to my school to get money that I still do not have.
To top it all off, my very peaceful silence (so, so rare) was interrupted with the arrival of my Mom and brothers. So obviously they asked me what damage was done at the sale that I did not go to. So I had to explain to my Mom. Then my brother asked and I had to explain to him again. Then my other brother asked and that's when I snapped. Like, I do not need this right now.
It's bad enough I had a pretty fucked up day, I do not need reminders. And I certainly do not want to explain why it's bad.

Tomorrow better be fucking amazing.

I'm on my sem break, so yes. I am very free.
Tweaked the layout a little, so it's so bright now I hope your eyes burn while you read this. It was bitch to edit the background image and header lol Google did some shit to it and it had this ugly grey cast..
IT WAS ABOUT TIME FOR SOME CHANGE ANYWAY. I got a little sick of being greeted by a flowery header lol so it's quite vulgar now.

It's okay, with my personality, I'll change the header real soon LOL but I think it fits well for now.

Geddit? Fits well? Cos you have to find the right dimensions that will look OK..geddit? K. Nevermind.

So I accompanied my Mom on her working trip to Singapore, and we asked Verinia to come along.

OUR FIRST TRIP OUTSIDE OF MALAYSIA! It was scary and exciting at the same time. Not to brag, but without me, Verinia would probably be stuck at Dhoby Ghaut waiting for the wrong train.

The bitch took a photo AT THE SAME SECOND I MOVED TO HER SIDE. Thank God for my fast cheek reflexes LOL stop feeling awkward when you take selfies bitch. Not like you're alone.

We were at Old Town because it was one of the only things open at LCCT that time cos everywhere else moved to KLIA2 already -_- and it was so packed!

I have yet to find a kopitiam that will serve me soft boiled eggs properly. How hard could it possibly be to soft-boil eggs?!

By the end of the first day of Singapore, my phone battery died. Along with my phone. The feelings of anguish I felt at that time was horrendous. My Mom and Verinia tried to comfort me but I was consumed by my own ball of sadness.

My phone, at this very moment that I type this, is still dead. My messages.. I'm slowly straying away from Apple at this rate. If I didn't have backup at iTunes, I'll probably be setting my sights on HTC or Huawei or some phone with a good camera.

Our trip there was un-eventful. It was, but I'm too lazy to illustrate what we did there. We went to her aunt's place at Punggol.

the green circle was where we were and the red circle is where her aunt lives. We took the MRT to Punggol and we got out because we thought we could find it cos Verinia said its outside the MRT.

We spent one hour walking around "Punggol Central" under the rain. Then we decided to go back to the MRT station to find a map cos everyone we asked didn't know where she lived. We went to the MRT station, found a map of Punggol Central and OMFG HER HOUSE WASN'T ON THE MAP.

Then we found a payphone (10 cents is 10 minutes of talktime omg I put in 50 cents. AND NO CHANGE. Celaka level 10000) and found out we have to take the LRT there.

To everyone who relies heavily on driving, please spend a day learning how to read maps and taking trains. It will be extremely beneficial for you if you don't want to waste money on cabs just because you don't want to take the relatively cheaper train. Trains > buses btw

thank God my mom brings me on trains so I'm not completely hopeless. INI DIPANGGIL KEMAHIRAN HIDUP OKEI.

We had the most magnificent roast chicken at her aunt's place btw. Thank God it wasn't fish lol I walked under the rain trying to find the apartment, I expect some poultry.

***

second day of our adventure we went to Universal Studios. My energy meter went really high after riding on the Transformers ride (three times!) then it slowly dwindled down after walking around so much. Verinia was high though cos she saw a lot of brown guys. Obviously she was sexually frustrated after being separated from Haikal so long, so the sight of anything that even insignificantly resembling Haikal made her very excited.

At the end of the day, we went to the pool at the hotel. Eventhough I can't swim for beans. Never find Verinia to teach you btw, her patience is as tiny as my swimming skills. Which is basically non-existent. Hopefully when she gets kids she'll learn how to be patient and not just shove all forms of responsibility to Haikal.

***

third day we decided to go to Ann Siang Hill which is at Chinatown. Chinatown is amazing by the way, and so easy to find! It is literally outside the MRT station. As in, once you walk out from the MRT station you are already in Chinatown.

Ann Siang Hill on the other hand.. it was basically just full of bars surrounded by scenic trees and cobblestones. Because Verinia has little patience (especially when she sweats. She's just like my Dad in this sense lol both of them can't do stuff to save their life when they sweat) we landed our butts in this cafe where we had lattes while I eavesdropped on the couple next to our table.

They were talking about social class wtf and they both didn't even know what bourgeoisie is. Pfft. LOL okay, I only found out about it after socio class. But still! I'm 18, they're in their 20's (presumably) !

after finishing our drinks we went to Zach and Ashley's house. We had Subway for dinner.

Obviously I am getting lazy to blog. K bye.

  1. currently obsessed with Disney classics (when am I not), specifically, PETER PAN. Ugh childhood crush. How can anyone resist his elfin charm.
  2. my phone died. So no photos, except selfies cos I only have selfies
  3. I miss Whatsapp. WHAT AM I MISSING?!
  4. My hair is finally long enough for me to pull everything back :B but my Mom insists that she likes my short hair more. I refuse to cut my hair. GROWING HAIR OUT IS HARD WORK. Am also convinced I look better in photos with this length. SHUT UP.
After having mother's day dinner at Venezia (damn I miss that Italian chef. COME BACCCKKKKKK..) my Dad wanted to go buy bananas (what auntie/uncle on this Earth is not obsessed with the wonderful benefits of bananas)

Me: buy for what, when you have three here for free?
Mom: HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEHEHEH

See, I'm dirty not because I was born this way.

IT'S THE FIRST WEEK OF SEM BREAK. And I don't even feel energized, I just want to sleep all day. First week of sem break is almost coming to an end, and I'm wasting my life away.

People call me to go out and I'm all gung ho for about 10 minutes and then my body tells me to hibernate. So I cancel plans. HAHAHAHAHAH I'M A HORRIBLE PERSON I'M SORRY

I'm quite sure if I keep this hibernation up, all my old friends are going to abandon me cos I always end up bailing out HAHA like how I was supposed to go out with Su Jean today but yesterday my Mom said I had to renew my passport today, but then the workers are coming today for piping works and my Dad wants to stay at home to supervise so it's postponed to Sunday - the day Cheryl asked if I wanted to go TS with them so she can pass me the badges and I can have croissants at Tous Les Jours (It is not pronounced Twos-lays-juice) and I have to stay at home today also in case my Dad has to go out and they're not done yet.

So as you can see, given the circumstances, it's not entirely my fault :P

I can just imagine Su Jean mumble alasanalasanalasanexcuses101alasanpfft HAHAHAH shut up bitch.

I also told myself I should practice my drawing, but here's a written description of what I am drawing so far:

  1. anime-human heads
  2. hands
  3. legs
  4. more heads
yeah. So productive.

I AM SO LAZY THIS MUST STOP. But..I'm just so lazy. It's a horrible way to spend sem break, but the first semester left me really tired. Cut me some slack!

Also read a book: If I Lie by Corrine Jackson. IT'S QUITE GOOD. A REAL TEAR-JERKER. Like, my tears just fall without me forcing them to come out cos I feel weird if I don't cry considering how everyone else cried buckets. So that has to prove something !
