M+Sc in BM

I went to see the website again...lalalalalala...
the below comment so far is my favourite. :]

1) Gather feedbacks from students who self-experienced PPSMI. As far as I know, 2 of my siblings were lucky enough to learn Science and Maths in English. They were really grateful to whoever implemented it because it really got them through their pre-u studies smoothly WITHOUT using any Malay-English for Science dictionaries like I did. 2) Is it fair to abolish the policy by just looking at how TWO cohorts of students fared in their exams? Does the government really think we have enough statistics to assess the effectiveness of PPSMI? Remember, we just have 2 cohorts of students who did their Science and Maths in English in SPM. They might not have produced good results as they too didn't have the chance to do both subjects fully in English because they did them in BM when they were in primary school. The first cohort of students who is going to benefit thoroughly from PPSMI (as in those who studied Science and Maths in Eng from Year 1 onwards) will only be out of school in 2013 but with this ridiculous reversal, this is not ever gonna happen. 3) If you want to revert the current system, start it from Year 1 or Form 1. Why Year 4 and Form 4? For those who are in Year 1 this year, they will have to learn the same subject i.e. Science and Maths in BM when they did them in English in the first 3 years of their primary education. The same applies to those who are in Form 1 this year which is even worse. Those who are in Form 1 this year are those who did Science and Maths in English from Year 1 onwards. In year 2012, those who are in Form 1 this year will be in Form 4. And for those who opt for Science stream, they will have to learn Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Add Maths (Science for art-stream students) in BM for just 2 years and after their SPM, when they go to college, they will be doing all of them in English. 9 years in English, 2 years in BM and back to English (most probably) for the rest of their life. PREPOSTEROUS!!!
