We Became the Truth Unknown
We Became the Truth Unknown
'Tis a tender age that fears death,
unlike the frail bodies of our future
soon to be tendered to agelessness
after we've passed on...
Assimilated into the imbroglio
of an intimately universal affair
as men born meddling amidst a cipher;
Transforming from knowing to becoming:
That ambiguous texture felt amongst the living;
Of kismet foreordained positively;
As nature's Moirai also wove in us
the imperishable relic of curiosity
willed to all humanity post humously.
And we'll live as the truth unwilled,
and as inquisition's legacy thusly,
just outside the reach of consciousness.
Ergo, as the subjects of eternal demand -
How ever could we be more valuable?
